Art is a form of speech , spoken visually, and it does more than just record a subject - it is a personal response that communicates our wonder, curiosity, and love of the world.
My subject matter is the world around me: it's beauty, variability and complexity. Expression is the key. The artist can share these experiences of the textures of our world with the tools of the painter expressed with feeling and color !
